Porter Francis Seedling Foundation Scholarship

2017 RWP Scholarship Guidelines:

The Porter Francis Seedling Foundation Scholarship is a tribute to our son, Porter, who in his brief 6-month life was able to spread goodness and love, and continues to bring out these memorable qualities in others today.  Since Porter’s mother is a teacher at Kildonan-East Collegiate, and Porter’s father was a teacher and counsellor at KEC for many years, we want to commemorate the spirit of Porter in further celebrating a KEC student entering post-secondary schooling who embodies such honourable and unforgettable qualities.

Question:

In a maximum 500-word essay, reflect on your experiences both in and out of the educational system:  How do you think you’ve made the lives of others richer and how do you hope to continue to do so in years to come?

Along with essay, please submit a brief resume outlining any volunteer work you’ve done both in and/or out of Kildonan-East Collegiate.  Deadline:  May 12th, 2017

Essays and resumes may be submitted one of two ways:
